Our vision is to change the narrative across the region from deprivation to prosperity. Social Impact NE CIC (SINE), is a community led initiative determined to repaint the colours of our communities.
The North East of England, consistently paints a picture of deprivation across various social and economic indicators. But what if we could rewrite that narrative? What if we could turn those shades of red into vibrant greens, symbolising prosperity and social well-being?
We currently offer three Supporter membership levels
The North East of England, our beloved home, holds a special place in our hearts. But let’s be honest, a harsh reality paints a different picture which can be seen so clearly in ONS heatmaps. We’re not just talking about numbers and statistics; we’re talking about real people, families, and communities. We believe that everyone deserves a fair chance to thrive, and we’re dedicated to creating the conditions that make that possible.
Our Mission:
Social Impact NE CIC is about empowering local communities. We aim to work with residents, businesses, and organisations to tackle the root causes of deprivation and build a more sustainable future. Our focus areas include:
We are aiming to build a solid network of VCSEs across the region, and a solid network of volunteers and socially conscious businesses and individuals to support VCSEs. Further to that we then aim to build training sessions to further support VCSEs to develop a solid skillset to ensure they achieve their venture achieves its greatest impact.
Together, we can rewrite the narrative. Imagine a future where the North East is no longer defined by deprivation, but by prosperity and opportunity. A future where our communities are thriving, our businesses are flourishing, and our people are reaching their full potential.
